Trouble sleeping? Ronald McDonald leads this year’s Friends of the Parks’ L.A.T.E Ride (Long After Twilight Ends) departing from Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park at 1:30 a.m. Saturday night/Sunday morning on July 10! This non-competitive charity event is a 22.1 moonstruck mile ride through downtown Chicago and North Side neighborhoods. Registration is $35-$40.

This is the only chance to ride the lakefront paths that close at 11 p.m. Past riders reports good weather — it hasn’t rained in the past 16 years for this event.
