Lakeshore Ski and Sports Club (LSSC) will spend an afternoon canoeing and kayaking the Chicago River on Saturday, July 16, beginning at 2 p.m. All who are interested are invited to join LSSC’s members for an afternoon of paddling up the Chicago River past industrial buildings, new condominium developments, city parks to Wolf Point by way of Goose Island, while observing an urban wilderness experience.
The afternoon’s festivities will begin at Clark Park, 3400 N. Rockwell St. Dinner will follow at Chief O’Neill’s Pub located at 3471 N. Elston Ave. Cost is $60 per person.
