Second City Unhinged presents final series

The Second City has announced the third season of "Second City Unhinged," which runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. in The Second City e.t.c., 1608 N. Wells St. in Piper’s Alley. The final cycle for the series begins Tuesday, July 26, and runs through Wednesday, Aug. 24.
Tuesdays
"The Second City’s Summer Rental" features some of Chicago's finest improvisers as they examine and deconstruct our society's ever-evolving language. In the tradition of Unhinged, "The Second City’s Summer Rental" is the house ensemble for the series and will perform throughout the series. Featured improvisers include Ryan Archibald, Rebecca Allen, Katie Neff, Charlie McCrackin, Joe Canale, Jimmy Carrane, Noah Gregoropoulos, Tim Mason, Brad Morris, Kevin Fleming, Jyo Minakawa and Andy St. Clair. It's directed by Dina Facklis.
"Mélange" features Chris Alvarado, Mike Davenport, Kyle Dolan, Betsy McKnight, Ray Mees, Kris Sharma. "Mélange" is a fluid, theatrical improvisation that combines elements of longform improvisation, Artaud's Theatre of Cruelty, Meisner technique, and farce. It's directed by Greg Inda.
Wednesdays
"Dare to Offend" features Andy St. Clair, Jonathan Keaton, Megan Grano, Emily Wilson, and Ryan Archibald, "Dare to Offend" explores what offends America the Red today and why. What are the limits of "decency"? It's directed by Josh Miller.
"Messengessengering or 58!", featuring live bike action and silliness, exposes the bike messenger underworld and one man’s journey to personal freedom. It's written by Tony Mendoza and directed by Patrick McKenna.
