'Lustigen Musikanten' to play at DANK Haus

DANK Chicago will be hosting another Friday night open house Stammtisch at 7 p.m. Aug. 19, in the "Skyline Lounge" on the sixth floor of the historic DANK Haus, 4740 N. Western Ave. DANK offers this free monthly get-together to enable people to share friendships and make new ones. The purpose is to introduce people in Lincoln Square and surrounding areas to the organization, and to showcase what the DANK Haus has to offer.
To get ready for the Oktoberfest season, live entertainment will be performed by the four-piece "Lustigen Musikanten" band, playing both American and German favorites. There will be a cash bar featuring draft German beer (of course); brats and other snacks will be available.
DANK Chicago (the largest chapter of the largest German-American Organization in America) is a benevolent non-profit German-American organization.
