Timothy Hollister, M.D., has been appointed Medical Director of Radiation Oncology at Saint Joseph Hospital in Chicago. He trained at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and is an expert in the latest advances in radiation technology, including intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT). IMRT utilizes sophisticated computer technology to maximize the radiation dose to tumors while minimizing radiation exposure to surrounding normal tissues.
