Imagine women in the roles of "Henry 4"

Stockyards Theatre Project explores “What Makes A Woman Powerful?” through the ferocious re-imagining of a Shakespeare classic. This original adaptation places women in the central roles and finds women, just like men, are brutal, compassionate, jealous, good-willed, over-zealous, and insecure. Loyalty...Betrayal...Vengeance…Passion... What’s a lady to do?
"Henry 4 (part one)" is adapted by Katie Carey Govier, and directed by Angela Bonacasa and Katie Carey Govier. The show runs Aug. 13 — Sept. 4. Performance times are 7:30 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays; 2 p.m. Saturdays (except Aug. 13); and 3 p.m. Sundays, in the Theatre Building Chicago, 1225 W. Belmont Ave. Tickets cost $17-$20, with group rates available. Call (773) 327-5252. An Opening Gala will be held Monday, Aug. 15, at 7:30 p.m., with a ticket
