How to appeal property taxes in Cook County will be the theme of the next Kedzie/Elston Business & Industrial Council meeting at noon Thursday, Oct. 25, in the Abby Pub & Restaurant, 3420 W. Grace St.
Andrea Raila, a senior tax consultant with Raila & Associates and an outspoken critic of the state’s property tax system, will explain how to understand and appeal property taxes with the new assessments and how to avoid penalties.
