Halloween fantasy-fest to help those affected by HIV

Dream Halloween Chicago, a benefit for the Children Affected by AIDS Foundation (CAAF), will be held on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 5-9 p.m. at the Windy City Fieldhouse at 2367 W. Logan Blvd.

Dream Halloween Chicago is the premier Halloween event for families offering a fantasy-come-true “Trick or Treat” lane with famous costumed characters like Barney and Snoopy (to name a few), amazing treats for kids, gifts for adults, arts and crafts, face painting, kids tattoo parlor, gourmet eats and drinks, stage shows, live and silent auctions, celebrity sightings and more. CAAF is the only national foundation that gives grants to organizations that provide direct care to kids and families infected or affected by HIV/AIDS. Money raised at Dream Halloween Chicago will stay in the Great Lakes region.

The event also features an auction with one-of-a-kind celebrity and high-end gift items, and will raffle a brand new 2002 Lexus car. One auction package is a dream come true for an Aaron Carter fan: airfare and hotel for four in a city where Aaron Carter is performing—with the winner going backstage and then going on stage to introduce Aaron Carter (plus concert tour jackets and more).

Among the most ardent supporters of CAAF and the Dream Halloween events in both Los Angeles and Chicago have been numerous celebrities including Elizabeth Taylor, Whoopi Goldberg, Jamie Lee Curtis, Rosie O’Donnell, Doris Roberts and Marlee Matlin.
