On Oct. 13, Chicago in Bloom hosts a "Thirsty Thursday" for businesses and residents in the area. Located at 4223 N. Lincoln Ave., the florist will serve drinks and hors d'oeuvres from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. There is no charge.
On Wednesday, Oct. 26, NCC's monthly luncheon and program is "'Tis the Season to be Wary," with tips on how to keep you and your businesses crime free and street smart from representatives of the Chicago Department of Police and 19th District. The luncheon is at Deleece, 4004 N. Southport Ave., and begins at 11:30 a.m. The cost is $25. |
