The Chicago premiere of “Bark!”, a new musical comedy about man’s best friend, will serve as the inaugural production in the 144-seat Studio Theater of the Chicago Center for the Performing Arts, 777 N. Green St. (just west of the intersection of Chicago Ave. and Halsted St.). “Bark!” will begin a limited 12-week engagement Tuesday, Oct. 18.
The company of six will be joined on stage by a three-piece band that performs more than 20 songs including “Bark!”, “A Grassy Field,” “I’m in Love with Lassie,” and the lighthearted hit “Whizzin’ on Stuff.”
