Winifred Godfrey will offer a slide presentation titled Highland Maya of Guatemala at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 3, in the Doederlein Gallery of Saint Luke Church, 1500 W. Belmont Ave. The program will illustrate the indigenous textiles and village markets in the highlands. Ms. Godfrey's lifesize paintings of a Mayan Procession, one of which is pictured above, will be on exhibit during the presentation along with examples of the types of textiles seen in the slides and the paintings.
