Weave explores the infinite world of inter- connection and how, through discovering the ten thousand things, we discover ourselves. Threading video, sound, and movement, Weave is a journey through many art forms. As video is cast across the performance space, manipulated fabric and multi-layered costumes create moving canvases where images jump alive bringing two-dimensional to three-dimensional. As set, costume and dancer become one, the sonic foundation guides you through the experience. The music is created through the use of marimba, vibraphone, electronics, and didgeridoo. All these media are woven together for an inspiring performance experience.
CAMP is a collective of four unique artists, each with their own specialties: sound by Mark Marzocco, movement by Laura Chiaramonte and Heather Kroski, video by Laura Chiaramonte and text by Colleen Murray. The core philosophy of CAMP is to challenge and inspire each artist's individual limits through the collaboration of a wide variety of art forms. CAMP's members currently work with other ensembles such as Dance Loop, Mad Shak and Collaboraction.
