Hosted by the Women's Board of Children's Memorial Hospital, Spree! is the preview party for the One of a Kind Show and Sale. It takes place Thursday, Dec. 1, from 4 to 9 p.m., on the eighth floor of the Merchandise Mart.
Spree! offers guests the opportunity to be the first to purchase unique gifts at Chicago's largest indoor art show featuring original work by 350 juried fine artists, designers and crafts people from throughout North America. Guests will enjoy a private cocktail reception with hors d'oeuvres as well as an exclusive shopping adventure within the One of a Kind show from 4 to 6 p.m. (Show doors open to the public at 6 p.m.) With a vast array of items for sale including sculpture, jewelry, fiber art, glass works, paintings and furniture, the show is a great place to shop for one-of-a-kind holiday gifts in all price ranges.
Children's Memorial Women's Board members Sharon Jenness and Barbara Neal are serving as co-chairs for the event. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Woman's Board's $2 million commitment to support the Division of Endocrinology at Children's Memorial Hospital, at Fullerton and Lincoln avenues.
