Jerry Gordon has been elected President of Cosmetologists Chicago. Owner of J. Gordon Designs, 2326 N. Clark St., Gordon is recognized as one of the leaders in the beauty industry. A third generation salon professional, his work has appeared in national beauty magazines, in films, and on national television.
Cosmetologists Chicago is the largest association of salon professionals in the Midwest and owner of the Midwest Beauty Show, one of the Chicago's top 10 trade shows. Cosmetologists Chicago recently announced a donation of $40, 000 to support salon owner colleagues who were victims of hurricanes in the U.S. Golf Coast. In the past eight years, the organization has donated over $2 million to international leukemia research. |
