An armed man robbed Dominick's, 3350 N. Western Ave., of approximately $5,000 to $10,000 last Wednesday. An employee had just collected the money from all the registers at 7:27 p.m. when the man approached her. He gave her a note that said, ” I have a gun. Put the money in a bag.” The robber then gave the employee his maroon bag and she placed the cash into it. The offender fled in an unknown direction.
A store video system captured a partial view of the offender, described as black, in his 30’s, 5’9”-5’11”, 150-170 lb., with a medium to dark complexion. He wore a black knit cap, black leather jacket, blue jeans and white gym shoes. |
