Park Community Church and the Downtown Express Shell Station, located at 130 W. North Ave., are offering 25˘ off per gallon of gasoline—as well as full-service treatment—from 5 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13. Volunteers from the church will pump gas, change washer fluid and provide coffee and/or hot chocolate to customers for free.
"We are using actions to show God's love," says Ron May, Associate Pastor, Park Community Church. The 1,100-plus member church, which meets just a few blocks from the gas station, organizes service projects on a regular basis "to share God's love in a practical, everyday way."
