The Second City announces its fourth annual benefit event: "The Second City That Never Sleeps: Letters To Santa," with 24 hours of improvisation by Second City performers and featuring special guests, all to provide holiday presents for needy children. The improv begins at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6, and runs to 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, in The Second City e.t.c., 1608 N. Wells St. in Piper's Alley. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the door.
Playing improvisational games, long-form scenes, monologues, and anything else to keep them awake, this group of Second City improvisers will be supported by special guests: Jeff Tweedy, The Blisters, Steve Albini and Robbie Fulks.
The admission price will guarantee entry to the event for the entire 24-hour period. Raffle prizes will also be offered during the event. For more information, please call (312) 337-3992 or visit www.secondcity.com. |
