Saint Joseph Hospital's Father Ted Ploplis, Coordinator, Spiritual Services, lights a candle during the Resurrection Health Care Day of Prayer mass on Tuesday, Oct. 25. Attendees prayed for those affected by Hurricanes Katrina, Rita and Wilma; the continuing war in Iraq and Afghanistan; the earthquakes in Pakistan and India; the floods in India and Central and South America; and the genocide, famine and AIDS pandemic in Africa. The interfaith prayer service was sponsored by the Resurrection Health Care Mission Department and was the first Day of Prayer celebrated systemwide. Saint Joseph Hospital, 2900 N.
