Don't miss Winter Flower & Train Show

The Lincoln Park Conservatory, 2391 N. Stockton Dr., will offer a free Winter Flower and Train Show from Dec. 10 through Jan. 8, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily. Several model trains, including an old-fashioned steam engine, freight train and trolley, will wind their way through a miniature village set in a field of vibrant red, delicate white and soft pink poinsettias. The village, comprised entirely of natural materials including willow, spruce and birch woods, features a variety of Chicago style homes and famous buildings such as the neighborhood bungalow, Chicago Theatre and Chicago Water Tower Place.
The Conservatory is open every day of the year from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on Christmas Day and New Year's Day, when the hours will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is always free.
Lincoln Park Conservatory is located just five minutes north of downtown. From Lake Shore Dr., exit Fullerton Ave. and travel two blocks west. From I-94, exit Fullerton Ave. and travel two miles east. The Conservatory is located on the southeast corner of Fullerton Ave. and Stockton Dr. For more information, call (312) 742-7736.
