New Year's Eve revelers can find a romantic repast featuring fondue and champagne in a festive, yet intimate, atmosphere, complete with classical/flamenco guitar music, at Geja's Cafe, 340 W. Armitage Ave. Due to its overwhelming popularity, Geja's Cafe offers three special reserved seatings on Saturday, Dec. 31.
Reservations are available for 5, 7:30 and 10 p.m. All guests will dine on the four-course fondue dinner complete with cheese fondue appetizer, salad, lobster, shrimp and beef entree, and Geja's famous flaming chocolate dessert fondue. The evening's packages also include champagne.
The 5 p.m. seating is $65 per person and includes a glass of Chandon Brut Sparkling Wine. For those who choose to dine at 7:30 p.m., it's $80 per person, which includes a glass of Moet-Chandon White Star Champagne. Guests who prefer to greet 2005 at the 10 p.m. seating, for $95 per person, will celebrate with a bottle of Moet-Chandon White Star per couple and party favors galore as the countdown to midnight begins.
Geja's offers guests an enchanting setting; intimate, candle-lit wine cellar atmosphere, private booths and live flamenco and classical guitarists, together with an extensive list of fine, moderately priced wines. Geja's Cafe features fondue dining —food one prepares and shares—including entree, cheese and flaming chocolate dessert fondues.
