Lincoln Park resident Melinda Ring, M.D., Medical Director of the Resurrection Center for Integrative Medicine, and Matt Greenberg, D.C., Licensed Chiropractic physician, are presenting a free lecture, "The Benefits of Integrative Medicine: A Panel Discussion," from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, in the Boikan Conference Center of Saint Joseph Hospital, 2900 N. Lake Shore Dr. They will discuss how the mind and body work together to promote healing as well as the benefits of chiropractic therapy, acupuncture and herbal therapy. Dr. Ring is board-certified in Internal Medicine and completed an Associate Fellowship at the University of Arizona Program in Integrative Medicine under Andrew Weil, M.D., world-renowned integrative medicine pioneer and author. She received her medical degree in Internal Medicine from The University of Chicago. Dr. Greenberg received his doctorate degree in Chiropractic Medicine from the National University of Health Sciences and has dual bachelor of science degrees in Human Biology and Kinesiology.
