LPHS art student designs city sticker

Not many high school art students get such wide exposure for their work as Lincoln Park High School senior Rossitza Kotelova, the winner of the 2006-07 City of Chicago city sticker design contest. Her graphic design got the most votes in balloting—1,161 of the 6,000 votes cast—which was done through calls, e-mails and walk-in votes. She will receive a $1,000 savings bond and her design will appear on 1.3 million car windshields all over Chicago.
''She included images that reflect many of the cultural aspects that make the city a great place to live and visit,'' City Clerk James Laski said. This year's theme was ''City of Neighborhoods.''
