A free, small business assistance workshop will be held Tuesday, Nov. 13, 6 to 8 p.m., at Truman College, 1145 W. Wilson, first floor faculty dining room. Attendees will learn of private and public sector resources available to small business owners, and a “business essentials” overview will address budgeting, management, contract negotiations, financing and bonding needs for small businesses. City of Chicago and Cook County representatives will discuss available contracts with the city and county for minority certified businesses.
The workshop is open to all; women and minority entrepreneurs are encouraged to attend.
