Auction at Club Emanuel



Auction items ranging from a week’s stay in a London, England condominium valued at $2,000 to a five pound salami from Vienna Sausage will highlight Emanuel Congregation’s 10th annual Auction 2001 at Club Emanuel set for Saturday evening, Nov. 10, in the Temple, 5959 N. Sheridan Rd.

Other goodies up for auction include an adopt-a-dog waiver fee for approved adoption from the Anti-Cruelty Society, a Sabbath dinner for eight, a handmade Amish quilt, a Rubrum Lilly Pastel/Acrylic by Kitty Wallis valued at $7,500, vacation spots, theater tickets including four passes to the Kingston Mines blues club, four chiropractic visits and 75 minute private yoga sessions.

TV and radio personality Aaron Freeman, a member of the congregation, will serve as emcee and auctioneer, according to Steve and Alice Marx, co-chairs of the auction 2001 committee.
