Police teach Traffic Stop Safety

The office of the First Deputy Superintendent in conjunction with the Education and Training Division will be conducting Traffic Stop Training and Safety Seminars bimonthly. The purpose of these seminars is to work with the community as part of an ongoing effort to strengthen the partnership between the community and Chicago Police Department. The classes will focus on Officer Safety, At Risk Traffic Stops, and Codes of Conduct for both citizens and police.
Residents of Area 3 (18th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, and 24th Districts) may attend from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 21, at 1300 W. Jackson Blvd. Breakfast and transportation will be provided. Please RSVP to Faye Patterson, 19th District Community Policing, at (312) 744-5574.
