Geja's Cafe, 340 W. Armitage Ave., is planning the most romantic Valentine's Day celebration in its 41 year history. For 14 days—from Monday, Feb. 6, through Saturday, Feb. 18—the renowned Restaurant of Romance will be lavishly decorated and will feature sparkling champagne, carriage rides around Lincoln Park, live flamenco and classical guitarists, long-stemmed roses, and, delicious sizzling hot fondue cuisine.
"Our goal at Geja's is to create the perfect Valentine's Day atmosphere for our clientele," says Jeff Lawler, general manager. "We will combine the ingredients—beautiful roses, fine champagne, lavish decorations, live music, carriage rides under the stars, plus delicious fondues—into the recipe for romance."
The two week-long Valentine's Festival's red-hot celebration includes:
* Double Anniversary Discount on Monday, Feb. 6
One of the most popular specials each year! With proof of total years married, couples will receive a double discount on their food purchases. For example, couples wed 15 years will receive a 30% food discount. Not valid with any other discounts or promotions.
* Romantic Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides on Wednesday, Feb. 8
Carriage Rides through the streets of Lincoln Park are free with the purchase of one Premiere Fondue Dinner per person on Wednesday, Feb. 8. They will also be available with dinner packages on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday.

The Valentine's Dinner for these packages consists of Geja's creamy Gruyere cheese fondue, a glass of champagne, Geja's salad with tangy Dijon vinaigrette, entree fondue of Beef Tenderloin, Lobster Tail and Jumbo Shrimp, Geja's luscious flaming chocolate dessert fondue with coffee, and a long stemmed rose.
Reservations for the Valentine's Week Packages require a credit card payment at the time of reservation. Geja's regular reservation policies and menu will be in place for the remainder of the week.
