To support the residents of Tree House Animal Foundation, celebrate Valentine's Day at Bar Chicago from 8 to 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10. There is a suggested donation of $5. From 8:30 to 10:30 p.m., there will be free draft beer and 2-for-1 mixed drinks. The evening will feature a silent auction, raffle prizes, and the signature drink Kitty Cosmos.
Tree House was established in 1971 as a no-kill, cageless shelter for injured, abandoned, and abused stray cats. At Tree House, cats curl up on sunny windowsills, sleep in comfortable cat trees, and interact with staff, volunteers, and other cats. Tree House currently shelters 300 cats. |
