The Friends of Revere Park will be holding a fundraiser on Sunday, Feb. 12, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the park, 2509 W. Irving Park Rd. The Revere Park Winter Fest is a family-oriented event will include carnival games and prizes, arts & crafts, face painting, inflatable bouncers, refreshments, and live entertainment featuring Mr. Singer of the Sharper Cookies. A one-time admission fee of $10 per child grants unlimited access to all activities. Infants under one year and adults are admitted free. Refreshments are not included in the admission price.
Proceeds from the event will be used to renovate the play lot at Revere Park. Volunteers are needed to assist with the games, activities, food, admission, etc. Two shifts are available: 9 a.m.-noon (includes set up) and noon-3 p.m. (includes clean up).
