The winners of the 47th Ward 2002 spring clean-up poster contest come from a variety of schools in the ward. Winners for first grade are Jasmine Benabe, Audubon; and Brittaney Wenger, Paul Revere (first place). For second grade, winners are Kimberly Roldan, Coonley; and Rochelle Peterson, Waters.
For third grade, top entries came from Denzel Hayes, Ravenswood; and Jennifer Kawaguchi, St. Matthias. From the fourth grade are Patrick Angel S. Guchico, Ravenswood; Mark Tud, St. Matthias; and Amber Jones, St. Matthias (honorable mention).
Winners from fifth grade are Daphne Erpelo, Audubon; Kristal Buzin, Ravenswood; and Sammy Caronongan, St. Matthias (honorable mention). Top posters for sixth grade came from Georgiana Jumatate, Coonley; and Aamir Bhojani, Audubon.
Winners in seventh grade are Joia Yarboi, Bell; Jessica Galang, McPherson; and Samantha Dambaugh, Coonley (honorable mention).
Top entries from eighth grade were created by Yelena Mironova, Bell; Katrin Frendreis, St. Matthias; Chanel Alvarez & Jason Escala (St. Matthias honorable mentions).
Winners from the Welles Park Therapeutic Program are Nick Bernstein and John Markovich.
