The Inaugural Bike The Drive, sponsored by Mayor Richard M. Daley and the Chicagoland Bicycle Federation takes place Sunday, June 9.
The start is between 5:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. and all riders must finish by 9:30 a.m. so that Lake Shore Dr. can re-open to car traffic.
Lake Shore Dr. will be completely closed to cars and filled with bikes between Hollywood Ave. and 57th St. The event starts at Grant Park and will have 15 and 30 mile routes.
