The Ravenswood Outreach Food Pantry, located at 2200 W. Giddings St., is a non-profit supplemental distribution site for those in need. To benefit from this pantry, you must live within the boundaries of Irving Park Rd., to Foster Ave., and Clark St. to California Ave. If you or someone you know would benefit from the Pantry call (737) 728-1010 or (773) 561-6181.
To donate food or become a volunteer, stop by the Pantry during open hours: Mondays 9 to 11 a.m., or the first Tuesday of each month, 6 to 7:30 p.m. Spanish speaking volunteers are needed. For information on the other food Pantries call "The Greater Chicago Food Depository" at (773) 247-3663.
