News EditorA 17-year-old high school girl was a victim of repeated sexual offenses by two white males on Tuesday, June 18. Though she is from the suburbs, the attacks took place in an apartment believed to be in Ravenswood.
The victim was walking to school on Wolf Rd. in Northlake, IL, at 9:30 a.m., when a red Jeep stopped. The first offender, who had a light mustache, wearing a dirty gray shirt and dirty blue jeans, jumped out of the Jeep. He appeared to be in his early 20s, 5'5" and 150 lb., with blue eyes, blond hair, and a medium complexion. The offender grabbed the victim's arm and forcibly dragged her into the vehicle, ordering her to lie down on the floor where he covered her head with a sheet.
For two hours the offenders drove until they arrived at a location believed to be in the vicinity of the 4800 block of N. Hermitage Ave. There the offenders took her into an apartment. The second offender, who drove the car, was about 30 years old, 5'7" and 150 lb., with green eyes and blonde hair. The offenders consumed alcoholic beverages, smoked marijuana, and took turns sexually assaulting the victim until late Tuesday afternoon.
The offenders tied a sock around the victim's eyes and took her from the apartment. They drove around for several minutes before dropping her off in the 1700 block of W. Lawrence Ave. at approximately 5:15 p.m.
