"Playing Dumb" plays again at Apollo Theatre

Second City Theatricals and Rob Kolson Creative Productions will present "Playing Dumb with Jill Benjamin" at the Apollo Theatre, 2540 N. Lincoln Ave. Opening night is June 28 at 10:30 p.m., and the show will run on Fridays at 10:30 p.m. through Aug. 30.

Performer/writer and Second City alum Ron West directs this re-mount of "Playing Dumb with Jill Benjamin," which recently completed a sold-out run at Donny's Skybox Studio Theatre in Piper's Alley. The show explores the absurdity that both women and men go through to form relationships. Speed dating, one-night stands, and bachelorette parties - no aspect of the female/male dynamic goes unexplored in "Playing Dumb with Jill Benjamin."

"Playing Dumb with Jill Benjamin" stars Jill Benjamin and Brian Shortall. Benjamin was the co-star of the wildly successful "Pick-ups & Hiccups" with her partner Seth Meyers, who recently joined the cast of "Saturday Night Live" on NBC.

Tickets are available at the Apollo Theatre box office at (773) 935-6100 or at Ticketmaster locations. All tickets are $15. For more information check out www.secondcity.com or www.apollochicago.com.
