Printing goes digital: Printing buildings go condo



Signs of technological advance sweep over a proud Chicago manufacturing area and the Chicago Planning Commission agrees to a residential future.

The latest, and some say longest standing, printing business to wash its hands of the dirty work is Columbia Graphics. The family owned company has planned a residential conversion of their almost five acres of land located in the southwest corner of George and Paulina streets.

The Chicago Planning Commission has approved the plan.
