The program's narration will include the words of Chicago poets Gwendolyn Brooks and Carl Sandburg, columnist Mike Royko, novelists Mark Twain and Theodore Dreiser, that give testimonies of their love of the city.
The Field Museum is located on the Museum Campus at 1400 S. Lake Shore Dr. Admission to the sound and light show is free, and advance registration is not necessary. Light snacks will be available for purchase beginning at 8 p.m. For more information, contact The Field Museum at (312) 665-7114 or visit www.fieldmuseum.org.
