Canal St. at Madison St. will fill with artists and craftspeople exhibiting work they have created during the Arts & Crafts Expressions, an arts and crafts show to be presented by American Society of Artists Thursday and Friday, July 25-26, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. The show will be held on Canal St. between Madison and Adams streets and on Madison St. between Canal and Clinton streets.
Talented area artists will join with artists from across the country to display a wonderful variety of creative works. Oil paintings, collage, hand-crafted jewelry in a variety of media, lapidary works, stained glass, printmaking, photography, doll sculpture, hand-crafted wood toys and puzzles, portraiture, wall hangings, stone color paintings, and much more will be among the works on display.
Art In Action will be included in the show, with some of the exhibitors working/demonstrating at various times during the show. Watch artist Kin Leung as he paints, Ed Giannoni as he works on his lapidary works, and Teena Russell as she works on her hand-crafted jewelry. Younger visitors will enjoy the hand-crafted wood toys of Joel Eaves and doll sculpture by Ayo Williams.
