A criminal sexual assault of a 29-year-old female was reported occurring between the hours of 8:40 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 30, in the 5500 block of N. Kenmore Ave.
A witness heard the victim screaming and called police. The victim said that she got off the CTA train at Bryn Mawr Ave. and proceeded to walk to her temporary home. She cut through the alley off Kenmore Ave. A two-tone blue Chevrolet Suburban was creeping down the alley and stopped. The victim attempted to pass the vehicle when a black male about 30 years old, 6’ and 170 lb., got out of the vehicle and pointed a handgun at her. “Don’t run. This gun shoots six times. Don’t make me use it,” the offender said.
The victim got in the car and put her head down as ordered. The offender drove around for approximately ten minutes before he used a remote garage opener, slipped into the garage, and shut the door. He ordered the victim out of the car and sexually assaulted her on a green artificial grass carpet. The offender told her she would be staying until he had to go to work. He repeatedly assaulted her for several hours.
At approximately 11 p.m., the victim was ordered back into the car and instructed to keep her head down. The offender drove approximately five minutes and thenb released her. The victim screamed until help arrived. |
