"Minding Our Business: The Dynamics of Lincoln Park Commerce"

The Lincoln Park Community Research Initiative will present the third program in the “Lincoln Park Becoming” series on Wednesday, Nov. 20, at 6:30 p.m. in the DePaul University Student Center, 2250 N. Sheffield Ave.
This program will focus on the role of business in the development of the Lincoln Park community. Program moderator will be Lincoln Park resident Charles Wheelan, Director of Policy and Communications for Chicago Metropolis 2020 and author of the highly acclaimed book, Naked Economics: Undressing the Dismal Science.
Panelists will include Alicia Mazur Berg, City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development, and local Lincoln Park business leaders: Lino Darchun, Coldwell Banker; Jay Goltz, Artist Frame Service/Jayson Home and Garden; Dorothy Phelan, All Our Children.
The panel will address local business contributions to the development and character of Lincoln Park. Discussion will focus on maintaining a balance between the various types of businesses in Lincoln Park, and between commercial and residential interests in the community.
The program is free and all are welcome.
