Timeline Theatre Company

TimeLine’s sixth season includes “Awake and Sing!”, Clifford Odets’ 1935 American classic about a Jewish family in the Bronx struggling to sustain their dreams and survive the Great Depression, directed by Louis Contey (through Nov. 17); “Hauptmann,” by John Logan, the story of Richard Hauptmann, who defends his innocence in the murder of the Lindbergh baby that shocked the nation and launched the “Trial of the Century,” directed by Nick Bowling (Feb. 8 - March 16); and the world premiere of “Hannah and Martin” by Kate Fodor, based on the love affair between the Jewish political theorist Hannah Arendt and the renowned philosopher Martin Heidegger, who became a vocal supporter of Hitler during WWII, directed by Jeremy B. Cohen (May 3 - June 1).
