Republican 42nd Ward Committeeman Richard Gordon is running against incumbent Ald. Burton Natarus, (42nd).
Gordon cited a hazardous construction site at Dearborn and Maple streets, just one block from Ogden Elementary School, as an example of unfinished construction projects that contribute to a diminished quality of life in the ward. If elected, Gordon plans to make sure all construction projects are properly capitalized.
Gordon pledges to use the pay raise the aldermen have voted for themselves to start a foundation for seniors to defray the cost of prescription drugs. |
