A 42-year-old male was arrested for domestic battery on Christmas Day at 6:10 p.m. at his residence in the 3100 block of N. Hoyne Ave. He is scheduled to appear Jan. 9 in Br. 63-2.
The victim, the offender’s wife, 35, told police that when she returned from a family function, her husband became abusive. She stated that he had been drinking and that he grabbed her hair and knowingly and intentionally threw her out of the house.
However, in another police report the husband/offender is listed as the victim of a battery that occurred at the same address at 4:55 a.m.
The husband/victim told police at that time that he returned home from a Christmas party to find his wife having sex in their bed with a man. His wife and her boyfriend fled from the house as the husband chased them outside. “You can have her,” he shouted, according to police reports.
The couple jumped into a parked car and two Hispanic men got out. They were both between the ages of 25 and 30, 5’7” and 180 lb. They approached the husband and began punching and kicking him on the face and about the body. The victim sustained a bloody nose but refused medical attention.
